Hi be always been impressed with him. I remember back during his last year in hs, he was a 5*. We had another player that we were targeting (can’t remember the name). Finally late after the other prospect committed elsewhere we then offered Simpson. He called Clemson his dream school and committed shortly after.
He’s always been hardworking and I’ve never heard anything about him being in trouble or anything like that. Early on, he played sparingly but was always productive. Lately, it seems like he’s on the field for most of the game and the past few games, he has been on a tear.
I love rooting for guys like him and I really enjoy watching him play. He’s a great representative of Clemson and someone that makes us proud.

Which has been hampered out west.
Hard to keep Simpson off the field. He's a baller!

Flowe went to Oregon and is having a great career…he’s a headhunter…kinda like a combo of Bentley and Simpson…not sure why we wouldn’t have taken both Iah as both are great players and I think Flowe plays a little more inside for Oregon at times…

I think Flowe has mostly been hurt. Not sure what his status is now.

Why wait? We have the #2 OLB in the country standing on the sideline while Cunningham went up and down the field with the option. Any idea how this would have played out if he had not been injured? We never slowed him down prior to the injury. Almost like we had no idea they ran an option. Glad for a hard fought win against an ACC bottom feeder but wow, what a drop off from the days of stuffing Lamar Jackson or the Paul Johnson attack.

Unfortunately, our bench-warmer (for last night) #2 HS recruit in the country OLB does not quite recognize the offensive alignments or understand his assignments when playing an offense like Louisville's.
Remember last week against FSU? The wheel route was the responsibility for our (last night's) benchwarmer OLB. He blew the coverage and the long-gainer (which turned out to be a TD after he rolled over on [was it Sheridan Jones?] and kept running in for the TD.
The OLB guy of whom we speak will learn the game quickly, though, and will be 'ready for all comers' in the 2022 season.

I don't understand why both could've not been taken. But Flowe played linebacker his entire high school career and Trenton played running back. So considering we were trying to fill Isaiah Simmons spot and Flowe theoretically been able to make the transition quicker. Again I don't understand why both could not have been taken with the current scholarship situation.

that both looked like they could be elite and I hoped we didn’t end up slow playing one and then lose out on both if Flowe chose a different school.

He blew Cunningham up off shear contact. Pretty impressive to stay with Cunningham post juke/move amd still lay that amount of pop.
