Trip to Ohio Question

Feb 23, 2016, 9:26 AM

What would be the cheapest way to get there? Looking at 380 for round trip and almost 3 hour flight. Or 9 hours in a car.

Anybody have a personal airplane they can take me there? TIA :)

I make the drive up to Ohio frequently....

I-85 to Charlotte

I-77 up through Virginia and into West Virginia

Jump on I-64 around Beckley (which is a toll road) through Charleston and into Ohio.

It's usually about a 6 or 7 hour drive and I absolutely hate it although in the fall, the scenery up 77 through Virginia is gorgeous and during the colder months you can stop and snow ski or tube in Ghent at Winterplace Ski Resort if you'd like.

Horse and buggy would be my guess . Stay rural though , suburbanites don't want your animal eating their turf grass and fewer redlights .
