Question for the "Trump will be a dictator" crowd. The most accurate measure of dictator-esque traits in a President would be the EO's. Compare Trump's EOs with Biden's and who looks more like a dictator?
I'll help you with a few; who's is who's? Defying SCOTUS twice to spend trillions on student loans 1000's more regulations and red tape Refusing to enforce immigration law Removed 7 regulations for each one implemented Launched a program to protect intellectual property from China Ended the protection of intellectual property from China Forced ESG on fund managers Removed ESG req from fund managers etc.

1. # of executive orders is a stupid measure of "capacity to be a dictator", yet you state is as fact. It's anything but.
2. Trump issued 220 EOs during his term. Biden is up to 130, which means he has a LOT of work to do in the next 10 months to catch Trump, which makes your measure even stupider since Trump would be more of a dictator by that standard.

1. When did I say anything about the number of EO’s? It’s the impact. Ask your partner.
2. Now go read the EOs. And see if you can discern a difference in the effect on Americans (well those that pay taxes). I’ll even give you a hint; one is helping Americans and one OSS bleeding then dry.

3. You know the most annoying part of you and your ilk; is the fact that you truly believe that you are smart. It’s nauseating. Now go back to screaming “he’ll be a dictator”, like some 8th grade social justice warrior-in-training that just left tranny book hour at the public library…

look how smart you believe YOU are, and you're still impressively wrong.
You would absolutely lose your everloving mind if this was black people, or LGBTQs, or any other liberal group you hate, but since it's not, it's just a peaceful tour of the Capitol, totally unrelated to anything Trump said or did.

WHY did they do what they did?

Why, Keowee? Because FBI agents made them do it? WHY did they believe an election had been stolen? WHY did they believe they had to fight like hell, or risk not having a country any longer?

Why? People need little reason to be foolish.

But no one “made” them do anything. You forget that there were 10’s of thousands of people at that rally that did nothing but go home after his speech (yet the banks and cell phone companies still violated their rights by releasing their info).
These people are the same as the people waiting in line to rush into Walmart at 1201 on Black Friday. Their only “need” is to feel like they are part of something not matter how outrageous it seems to others.
P.s. I will forever believe that there was cheating. When a judge throws out hundreds of affidavits because of “standing”; it doesn’t change the facts. Plus I’ve thwarted cheating efforts on multiple occasions in my district; so to pretend it isn’t happening is incredibly naive.

but you KNOW that the events of that day don’t happen without 2 months worth of lies from the most important seat on the planet. But, like you said…nobody will ever convince you that the election wasn’t stolen, so I won’t get in the way of your permanent temper tantrum and eventual aneurysm over politics.

I believe the attendance was closer to 100,000, or more. Try searching to find out..."they" don't want you to know, but the streets were packed in three directions going quite a ways down from where the stage was.
The echo chamber wants you to believe everyone who was there went to the Capital. That's not even close to what happened.

Free and fair election is a false premise: Heres proof
Jan 21, 2024, 11:24 PM

Incorrect premise.
It was not a free and fair election. State of GA is the most glaring example, but only because FINALLY a lawsuit was filed because a private citizen devoted YEARS of work to explore, validate, and then report the lack of integrity in GA’s election process.
Refer to the recent federal lawsuit against State of Georgia, in which GA is being sued for failing to adhere to a GA law (with that failure impacting the integrity of federal elections … note the plural in electionS) in which State of GA requires its Secretary of State to correct errors in its election process (which includes vulnerabilities for hacking of voting machines / voting machine software / oversight to assure the integrity of GA’s elections).
This failure to correct the lack of integrity in the GA election process goes all the way back to 2015 and had impacted each election through 2022; the impacts of GA’s election integrity problem was (and apparently still is) bipartisan. Dem gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams complained about GA’s election problem; she ‘lost’ to the then-Secretary of State Brian Kemp in the 2018 election
There is some irony here; B.Kemp was Secretary of State (SoS) for GA from 2010 through 2018. The Trump hating B.Kemp’s crooked fingerprints abound on the GA election process.
At this time, however, current GA SoS Brad Raffensperger is the key defendant in the recent federal lawsuit, which was filed in 2023.
(*). The key takeaways here are as follows:
(1). Few state governments will embarrass themselves by launching their own (rigorous and earnest) investigation into electoral problems. This especially true when the outcomes of an election lacking integrity just so happens to lead to an outcome that is favored by that state’s political leadership. Trump haters B.Kemp (GA), Doug Ducey (AZ), Tom Wolf (PA) are among those who rebelled in the outcome of the 2020 POTUS race; none of these states have conducted a credible self-investigation. This is why Trump haters are able to recite the specious excuse that their RINO Republican and/or Democrat propagandists tell them. (2). Investigations by private citizens are incredibly burdensome, require tremendous skill, and costly (who has time to delve so deeply into an election integrity concern when that time could be otherwise applied to earning money?).

But you and others here WANT Trump to be a dictator
Jan 17, 2024, 7:57 AM
|

You have pined for a strong man executive branch that will overpower Congress, states, and local governments to impose your will. You all have defended Jan. 6; deep down you wish it had succeeded. This is what y'all want.
This is what all of the hardcore Trump base wants. Nevada has already rigged their caucus for Trump (DeSantis even said so). You think the only way to "take back" this nation is to upend it with an authoritarian like him.
So mock all you want, but when his most fervent fans are pushing for a dictatorship and Trump is talking of revenge when he gets in office, it's easy to see where you and others like you want this to go.

DJT stated that he will be a dictator …
Many of us were deluded about DJT in 2016 … fewer in 2020 … I am no longer deluded.
