Tyshon Dye Out for Season

Elbert RB Dye lost for season with ankle injury

Elbert County running back Tyshon Dye, a preseason all-state pick who rushed for more than 1,500 yards last season, is believed lost for the season with a broken ankle suffered in last week’s 6-0 loss to Hart County. Dye, who has committed to Clemson, was lost in the first half. Elbert County, which has been in the top 10 two weeks this season, has lost two consecutive games and is 4-4 overall and 3-2 in Region 8-AAA.
