Alabama's uniforms are classic. Everyone knows who they're looking at when they see a crimson helmet with numbers. Or an orange helmet with a white paw. This new "wear a new uniform every week" trend is stupid.

Pretty sure you're mistaken. Don't know exactly how much Phil Knight had to do with their rise in the late 90s/early 00s, but i'd say it was pretty substantial. If you don't have tradition, cooler gear than everyone else is the next best thing.
