Update on Scoreboard from CU website

Not sure I believe it but this says one lane of Williamson Road will be closed from 10 PM to 6 AM tonight and tomorrow night to allow contractors to COMPLETE WORK on the new video board. I copied the paragraph I have referenced and the link to the article. It also says “ Both lanes will be closed again when The Tiger is lifted by crane to the top of the video board. That closing will be announced in the near future.”
Maybe this will help some folks relax.

Williamson Road has reopened at Memorial Stadium, however, one lane will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 17 and 18, to allow contractors to complete work on the new video board. Both lanes will be closed again when The Tiger is lifted by crane to the top of the video board. That closing will be announced in the near future.

Maybe I am wrong, but I wouldn't take the word complete as in the board is going to be finished. I would think they just mean to continue to work on it.

Well, hopefully all of Tigernet will see it light up for the 1st time via link right here on Tigernet.

We need a volunteer to make sure this happens, I mean we are the most important Tiger fans here on Tigernet.

If they start now banning all the coots & dawgs we’ll be able to watch without all their jealousy!

We all have something to be excited about now! California Dreaming video should be the 1st thing shown or whatever you guys want to see 1st!

Complete work could just mean working on 1 little part that requires the equipment to be in the road. As long as there is a gate for the team get in and run down the hill and a play clock, the game goes on just like it did for decades before a video board was invented. Spot the ball. Hill watch 24 days.
