Vic Beastley comments

Jul 20, 2014, 6:12 PM

Is this true or is this coot media trying to drum up some extra bulletin board material?

Quote courtesy of Manie Robinson from the Greenville News; Clemson DE Vic Beasley was asked about dealing with double teams this coming season like Clowney did last year for USC:

"Clowney didn't have the supporting cast I have."

Yes it was asked and yes he did answer it like that but you look at Grady, Williams, Watkins, Barnes, Crawford, J. Watson, Reader, Lawson, and Crawford add in the fact that USuCk has never had 3 5 stars behind their D-line like Clemson has in Anthony, Steward, and Alexander. Add a Boulware, Smith, Kearse, Blanks, Burrel, Tankersley, Wiggins, both Rogers, Peters, Ebo, Pagano, O'Daniel, Martin, Jones, Johnson, Green, Goodson, Aiken and others I know I am leaving off but you just look through that list with a few 5 stars sprinkled in with a slew of 4 stars and tell me this isn't maybe the most talent a Clemson defense has maybe ever had. So for me even with the way USuCk has played recently, which I believe is over their heads at times, then yes I believe whole heartedly he has more talent around him then Clowney ever had.

I don't have a problem with the claim he made. Probably will get expounded upon ad nauseum by the Dirtpecker throngs but that will all be just fine by November 29.
Back that up Beast !

I'm glad he said that. Good for him to think "team" and not

"I"! Others should follow his example.

That's cool. Clowney said he would never know what it felt like to lose to Clemson and he backed it up. We'll see in late November if Beasley can do the same. I'm betting a six pack that he can't.

So he will no longer root for Usuck? I wouldn't either.
