That was not a big enough game, or big enough win, to validate a court storming.

Lets not pretend we wouldnt have done the same thing. Any victory over Duke, especially when the officiating is always skewed in their favor, is worth celebrating. I hope their player is ok, i dont wish injury on anybody...but our fans wouldve stormed the court too.

I was asking myself the same thing. The crowd was loud and pumped but the students just freaking sprinted out from both ends like there was a pot of gold on the other ends of the floor. It was pretty ridiculous. I’m guessing lots of people got knocked down in that melee.

Duke is a top 10 team in America and came into the day tied for 1st in the ACC and that’s not a big enough win?
Just beating Duke period is a big win especially for somebody like WF.
Some of y’all are just straight up haters and can’t give anybody else any credit. That’s like Duke fans trying to talk smack about Clemson in football. It makes you look ridiculous and like a hater.
Duke is Duke and they are college hoops royalty.

Duke has 5 losses now. Wake has accomplished a lot more than just beating Duke in a regular season game.
Beating a team tied for first in the conference is no reason to storm the court for a team like Wake. If Furman beats Duke, go for it.
It is absolutely not justified. Wake just downgraded themselves.

And to do it against Duke took the fan base from simmering to the boiling point. Wake fans have been very hungry for more than a decade for their program to get back to winning.

Regular season wins against annual opponents are not worthy of court storming, field storming, pitch storming, or any other storming. It’s out of control.
