Washington and Louisville

Nov 1, 2016, 7:31 PM

Just got the high hard one. Washington can still get in but barring a catastrophe not the top 4 Louisville is toast because of there weak remaining schedule. Texas A&M being at 4 is a complete joke.

they need AM to loose again, Washington to loose and not win PAC 12, Michigan to loose and Ohio State to loose before they even play each other

Come on- the word is "lose"

I don't see TAMU losing until they play LSU unless Ole Miss really steps up their play on defense. But Ole Miss will really stress TAMU's bad defense. They really should win out, but I'm not sure how good they actually are.

Ohio State could lose to Nebraska this weekend, and I expect them to lose to Michigan.

Washington's biggest challenges seem to be playing USC and at WSU, then the PAC-12 Championship.

A&M at least opened with UCLA. Was supposed to be a real good team. They were trying to schedule tough, anyhow. Alabama opened with USC - the real one. And crushed them.

A&M pretty much took care of Bidness everywhere else except Bama, where they were outclassed.

I actually disagree with the idea that A&M are the actual #4, but I think as much as anything The Committee is making a statement: go play somebody if you want us to rate you. I think they're as tired of cream-puff schedules as fans are.

They're consistent, anyhow. They established that precedent with Baylor/TCU three years ago and have not really deviated from it since.

Cream-puff schedules and easy wins don't get you rated by the Committee. It hasn't really been a mystery.

"Cream-puff schedules and easy wins don't get you rated by the Committee. It hasn't really been a mystery."

Yet almost everyone ignores this when the results don't agree with their own "eyeball test". Screams of bias, regret for not beating the teams you play worse (becasue the eyeball test needed to be even better!), blaming losses on selected missed penalties, etc.

Open your d@mn eyes, people! Victories over top 25 opponents matter! Big victories over inferior opponents don't. Where you win or lose and who you beat or lose to matter. It's not that complicated. No conspiracy theory is needed.
