Some good looking historical fiction shows.

Picked Franklin over Man Hunt (John Wilkes booth).

I hope they do Ben Franklin justice haha. Wanna see some French sloots getting the bidness.

I'm watching Franklin now. It's quite interesting and I'm culling though the trivial and recognizing that some of the oddities are probably true.

My father uses to say, 'Date old women, they don't swell, they don't yell and they are greatfull as ####. When I read Franklin's 'On The Choice of a Mistress,' I recognized where that saying came from so the part of him chasing younger women was probably not accurate.

Have you read the Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin? One of my favorite parts was that the English were starting to tick him off because he was having to spend so much time dealing with them, and it was interfering with his lightening experiments.

The main woman he hung out with in France was Anne-Catherine de Ligniville, and she was in her 50s at the time. Still younger than Franklin. He was in his 70s.

Unless written, we don’t know that is how they were in person, their mannerisms, how they were around people. It’s just all fiction.

Now if it’s historical fact and you can do something on fact. I am in.

Most of the documentaries are basically what they “think” the person was like or how they interacted.

Basically to me, it’s dumb.
