Watching the Cotton Bowl from out of the country?

Dec 23, 2018, 6:10 AM

Does anyone know if there is a live YouTube feed or who can recommend a good VPN? Last year my VPN worked fine until the last couple of games, but I was lucky enough to find a live YouTube feed that someone posted on here for the ACC Championship. This year when I was gone, my VPN would not work either. Heading to South America and hoping to be able to do more than listen to the game.

I use IPVanish

on my Amazon Firebox. Then I have a subscription with Directv Now. I'm in Switzerland and it's been working pretty good for us.

Go Tigers AND Tiger Nation!

Thanks I'll check into the IPVanish. I have DirectTV Now in the states so maybe I can get that to work. I could not with my old VPN but it stopped working. It was OK for almost 2 years, so I don't know what happened.

Reddit CFB streams will have plenty of free streams

as they do for every game. Those sites don't care whether your IP originates in Albuquerque or Afghanistan.

I think that I have seen them, but if it is the same thing then it wanted me to sign up for something that I was hesitant to get into. Thanks. I'll check again and this time I am more willing to chance fighting to unsubscribe from something. It's a big difference between missing a Wake Forest game and missing a Notre Dame CFP game.

I can personally post a link that won't require you

Dec 23, 2018, 11:25 AM

to sign up for anything. You may have to close a popup window or 2.

That would be fantastic. I don't mind pop ups. For this game I am not 100% against having to cancel something later on. This one is a little more important than the games that I have been limited to listening to in the past.

When I was in Thailand for a couple weeks I signed up for ESPN player. There's a 14 day free trial. Canceled it after the Duke game. It's a bit weird because it would freeze here and there during commercial breaks and you dont realize it...then 5 minutes go by and you miss a whole possession. Once I figured out to restart the app after about 60 seconds, didnt really have any issues.

I appreciate the earlier replies but I was going to put this back out there. JD404, I glanced quickly at your recent posts and didn't see anything, but I understand that it might be a gametime thing. I guess I will buy IPVanish if I don't have a better route by about 2 to give me a couple of hours to work out any kinks.

Any other suggestions, links, or feedback on IPVanish or another VPN?
