Watson closing up the gap on Heisman?

Besides the interceptions, he had one heck of the game. Incredible numbers. Other candidates seems to have a bad day. Lamar Jackson, Jake Browning and Jabrill Peppers have mediocre numbers.
Watson is still in it.

I'd love to see him win it, but

Clearly he makes turnovers in very crucial points in games. Take that last pick back, and we score 3 maybe 8. 3 points would have given us an 11 point lead late in the game. 6, 7, or 8 point score would have made it 48, 49, or 50 to 34 late in the game. Instead, worse case scenario happened, and they score. Clutch players simply don't do that.

He does make too many mistakes but to imply DW is not clutch is idiotic! He is the most clutch player in football. He tried to force it though it was a bad play. Dude is still clutch. We don't win against UL or FSU without him.

He has played clutch in a lot of games this year.... I'm just caught up in the emotion. Actually that may be the problem. We're so use to him pulling it off at the end that there was no need for urgency because he has pulled us through in those tight games. Unfortunately, he wasn't clutch today, and playing this team close ended up costing us. We need to be more like Bama and just blow these teams out and not have to worry about clutch.

IN all honesty he doesn't deserve it. Watson has not been a great QB imo. Good, but not great. For whatever reason he has been off all year. We've been living on credit all year and it cost us tonight. We allowed a Ref with a USUC degree to influence the outcome of the game with that int. Then a #### poor effort to tackle the guy. I agree with Todd McShay, at this point, he looks like a 3rd or 4th rounder. He just doesn't look focused. Can he be great, we all know answer to that.

Watson is out because he is tied for the most Ints in the nation.
Sorry but the ESPN has already given it to Lamar Jackson.
You know it is bad when we beat Louisville and the media writes Jackson shines despite close loss.
It is all about spin.
It is not given to the best player anyways. I wish they would wait until after the bowls for the Heisman and then give it out. I think Watson should have won it last year.

I wish, but absolutely zero chance. He's getting a rep for bad picks big stages. 2/3 vs. LOU, 2 momentum changers vs. FSU, and 3 today (2 in end zone)
Would still trade him for nobody, but he has no shot at the heisman this year

I'm not saying he'll win.

But seeing Jackson struggled against Wake Forest kinda gives us hope. The other candidates didn't do so well either.
Louisville has to visit Houston, while Clemson will have an extra game (assuming we beat Wake--I guess I have to include this statement).
I guess I can only hope.

Looks like all he wants to do is win games. Some of you just want to bring him down. He won't let you do that

He might be considered for the High School Heisman. Playing "protect my NFL" football this year.............. 5 solid QB runs would have opened the game wide open.
