And a coach that just lets em do it
How many players do we have shooting over 30% in acc play from behind the arc?
Yet we are launching them non freaking stop
Then we get to the end of the game and launch one when all we need is 2 points to win
Freaking stupid

in a four or five out set. Everyone has the green light because we've got pretty descent shooters at 4-5.

I never liked having Hall shoot threes. Dude is 7ft tall, he was hot from 3 at the start but he needs to be a rebound/layup/dunk/alleyoop machine

We shot it really well in the non conference portion.

It wasn’t unreasonable to assume that it would continue when conference play started.
At this point though, it’s hard to chalk up our poor shooting in ACC play to just a bad streak.
We aren’t the outside shooting team we thought we were. And on that note, PJ Hall simply isn’t as good as we thought he was.

True. This whole line up all year we've assumed this is the best team Brads had...that is starting to come into question. The kids are good but maybe just not as good as we hoped

I think it could be the best compilation of players but not necessarily best TEAM… I mean watching this team on offense is just very hard sometimes and you watch about any other game on yesterday and you see the difference. But I will say early in the schedule we looked like we’re moving the ball and playing complimentary offense a ton more… a lot of drives and kick outs and a lot more hitting cuts to the basket… now it looks nothing like it did early on. Girard is in the top 10 as far as 3 pointers in ncaa history and arguably the best shooter we have ever had here, but I don’t see sets for him or actual screens….alot of tapping the defender and rolling off and lazy screening. We have to get him open looks he’s not a guy to make his own shot alot. We proved we could shoot it early in the season and it’s just disappeared. Defense has been one of the biggest disappointments ImO though .

So why do we keep doing the same thing and expect different results?
I have not see a fundamental change in the way we play offense or defense
We are a poor shooting team that’s too slow to make switches on defense
Yet we keep launching 3’s and running a defense that requires us to make quick switches - why?

If Clark would have looked he had PJ Hall with inside position who could have dunked for the win. Instead, he launched up a long 3 and missed. Disappointing.

hoop, with the prime directive of making the hoop or at least, getting fouled doing so in the attempt with the then opportunity to at least tie, maybe win. But that's just me.

Shooting a 25 footer wasn’t the shot when we got the ball with 7 seconds left.

Only a few really shoot 3s and they almost all know they arent good at shooting them. We only have one guy who can shoot 3s, and he has trouble getting his shot off. The rest are wining it.
