sake it needs to expand..going forward with the big 10 adding usc and ucla and the sec adding texas and oklahoma..its only a matter of time before those two conferences take up all four slots in the playoff moving forward

Don’t worry, Clemson is in a great spot.

Look in the Big Ten contract, ESPN is not involved.

Look at who ESPN controls, SEC, ACC and more. ESPN could make one league / conference that would absolutely dwarf the Big Ten.

The Big Ten is in a nice spot if every thing stays under the current plan, i.e. Big Ten and SEC are the two major conferences and don’t expand beyond Texas Oklahoma USC and UCLA. But it’s not going to stay like this. Fans will always pay serious money to see Clemson Florida State Miami Notre Dame UNC Oklahoma State NC State TCU Arizona State Pitt Utah etc and ESPN or some media company is going to deliver that content.

Sure Clemson will have low TV revenues in the next couple years, but in the long run we are in a really good spot.
