We need "freaks" on defense!

Townsend is a "freak" and will knock your lights out so why not play him right now. He may not know the system like Coach Venables wants him to know but we need people who will hit you in the mouth and lay you out What I am seeing from the defense is a bunch of guys not wanting to hit hard or make tackles. Once someone runs past them they just quit. We need some freaks that will take you head off and I think Townsend is just the one we need. I watch him in the spring game and he was always in the offense backfield in the QB's face. These upperclassmen who are playing right now are not getting the job done. Vennables cannot expect the offense to have to out score every opponent. He has to do something to get the defense to make plays. Townsend, Steward and Davis just to name a few give them a chance on the first team. if the Tigers continue to give up rushing yards they will not beat Ga. Tech, NC State or South Carolina. Changes needs to be made now NOT wait until next year. If they dont want to hit or tackle then out them on the bench and play someone that will.

the FSU qb.... alas, twas not to happen.

It's basic football...pressure busts pipes. Manuel had wayyy too much time.

Send the house and jamb them at the line. Did anyone notice the FSU back throat jambing our WR at the line ?

With all due respect, we are not at practice ( at least I'm not ) therefore we don't know what goes on as far as personell matters go. Sure I want "freaks" out there but truthfully we really don't know what goes into making the decisions. JMO
