In my house, if I didn't cook, we wouldn't eat.
That might be my solution to my grocery bill problem

I cook almost all the meals at the house. If my wife needs to cook then we just eat out or order food.
There are times I just say, I’m not shopping this week, everyone eat the food available (bc there is a ton of it).

We have what we call "hodge-podge" night

once a week, usually Thursday for Friday we eat all of the leftovers from the meals we cooked the past week.
This is usually the night I'm drunk by supper time and god forbid my wife or MIL cook something
