We're having a meeting with all our CEO's, and the most recent one just said that.

How exceptional and amazing and incredible this team is for our great 1st quarter results.

Yeah, but still no raises.

Why do executive teams just flat out lie to employees? Is this in post MBA courses?

I feel like I need to shower now.

3 business units, 1 holding company.

We got bought by one of the business units about a year ago, and I've seen a different CEO's for each BU. They roll through quite a bit.

The rest of the "family" are considered the inbred cousins

nobody talks about. At least..that's how we're treated.

I was wondering how much this "meeting" is costing..just from their salaries. I did some quick math and just from those 4 we've spent about $35k in salary cost.

4 people, a little less than an hour. $35K.

A crusty inbred West Virginia cousin-marrying family with a father that did time, a methhead older brother, a pedophile uncle, and a nymphomaniac cokehead sister.

But if he did, then mad respect to a man that is willing to have his arm pulled off and be beaten senseless with it by a woman who appreciates violence on a scale that can only be described as "Tarantino-esque". I'm definitely the nicer sibling by a mile.

I assumed all you had to do to get a modern IT person to quit was to make them come in the office.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That would do it for most.

We're prob 80% remote.

But if I could find another job that paid the same I'd leave in a minute even if I had to go in the office.
