What a toothless, hairless chihuahua the NCAA has become.

Tennessee's lineup of infractions DWARFED what got Clemson a three year post season ban (with an additional bogus year tacked on by the ACC, which is why I hate this conference). I mean, there is no comparison between the two. And yet, Tennessee skips away with no postseason ban, AT ALL.

The NCAA couches this up as all of a sudden not wanting to cost current players a shot at post season because of the illegal actions of past players and / or coaches. To which I say, bull$h!t. With the current transfer rules, the current players would be out the door and auctioning themselves to the highest bidder with huge NIL deals before the Post Season Ban Press Conference was over. They would not be "STUCK" at Tennessee, in any way, shape or form.

What a colossal crock of excrement.

I completely agree. Clemson got dinged for paying for a player to go to the dentist and similar incidents; the Vols lose 1 NIL contract worth of money for gross violations of all kinds. Then the ACC attacks Clemson, but when the 'Heels make their diplomas worthless and the NCAA gives them a pass, the ACC remained deafeningly silent.

The NCAA is terrible and the ACC conference leaders are right beside them. The trend seems to me; "big state schools like TN and UNC get a slap on the wrist. Smaller-ish schools get the more severe punishment(SMU, Clemson,Baylor,etc.).

Follow the $$$$$$, I guess!

This is one of my personal reasons for checking out years ago with the whole concept of amateurism!

What part of today's world is the same as it was 30-40 years ago? Times and economics have changed so much that you just have to forget what you saw or heard about in years past. College football is a multi, multi billion dollar business and the economy is so greatly affected by football that you just need to forget the past. Just move on and get ready for a great season in Tiger Town. Life is too short to worry about things you cannot change.

What I have ponderd multiple times is how the diplomas are legit from this period. Should have to subtract credit hours for this bogus class. But we are talking about THE UNC @ Chapil HOlE. FJB and the holes. Go Tigers. Make them pay.
