We have 2-3 real games. ND and FSU, and potentially

a tough rivalry game. The rest should be a cakewalk if we are even close to playoff-worthy.

Speaking of the dirtpeckers anyone ever notice when Clemson plays an SEC team on the road SECPN likes to schedule the game at night but when it returns to Clemson it's a nooner. Expect it to be a night game at the Roach.

I think you're onto something so I hashed this out off the top of my head since 2000 (22 games). They've gotten most of the night games (7 to 5 times) while the noon games are pretty even (5 to 4 in favor of Death Valley) but the only one 3:30 game was at Clemson.

@ Clemson 2000 3:30
@ USC 2001 Noon
@ Clemson 2002 7:30
@ USC 2003 7:30
@ Clemson 2004 Noon
@ USC 2005 7:30
@ Clemson 2006 Noon
@ USC 2007 7:30
@ Clemson 2008 Noon
@ USC 2009 Noon
@ Clemson 2010 7:30
@ USC 2011 7:30
@ Clemson 2012 7:30
@ USC 2013 7:30
@ Clemson 2014 Noon
@ USC 2015 Noon
@ Clemson 2016 7:30
@ USC 2017 7:30
@ Clemson 2018 7:30
@ USC 2019 Noon

Pretty sure it was the same deal playing Auburn and Texas A&M. Night at their place and afternoon in Clemson.

As things stand right now in the ACC Clemson has a natural..

9-ish win Floor.........meaning we're more talented than most everyone in the ACC sans MAYBE 1-2 in a given year. However, that doesn't mean we're immune to "tough games"...........even in our National title winning years we had 2-4 "tough games".

JMO.......if the "WR question" is answered this year we'll have 2-3 "tough games"..................if it's not then we could have 4-5 "tough games"

I'll say FSU, ND, & South Carolina(but they lost some firepower).........with a chance of NCstate & Miami being tough.................it ALL hinges on the WRs b/c the QB and OC questions have been answered for 2023

We still dont know if QB and OC questions have been

Rectified. Proof is in the pudding.

true....they seem to have been answered........

from what I've seen.......

Riley WAAAAAAAY greater than Streeter

Klubnik WAAAAAAY greater than DJ

time will tell, but there's a comfort level there that wasn't there when Dabo promoted Streeter.

WRs are still a big issue

Agree on the Riley - Streeter comparison.

Not yet sold on the Klubnik - DJU comparison.

Klubnik has basically played two games for the Tigers, done outstanding in one (against a terrible defense) and not so much in the other (against a questionable defense).

Remember DJU's first two games at Clemson? We thought we had another QB in the mold of Watson and Lawrence.

I think Klubnik can potentially have a better career at Clemson that DJU did, especially with Riley at the helm. I'm hoping that's the case. I'm also hoping DJU excels at Oregon State.
