Just heard on the Dan Patrick show about a poll on who had the worse weekend and they said Matt Schaub was 1 and David Pollack 2nd. Didn't hear what for tho with Pollack?

Pretty dumb. He was kinda led into it.

He said something like only people who know football and who played football, etc. should be on it. Fowler asked him point-blank, "no women?". Pollack agreed, and everyone cackled. It was weird.

As Pollack was explaining his stance that members of the committee should be former players, ESPN host Chris Fowler asked if such a requirement should preclude women from serving on the committee.
“So no woman belongs on the committee, then?” interjected Fowler.
Rather than avoid the question, Pollack took the bait.
“You said that … I’ll say it, yeah. Yeah,” he responded as other panelists stated that they disagreed.

Yes but in the context of ex players because its obvious there are no female ex players on that level.

That was not in the context of ex players. Fowler said "So no women belong on the committee then?" That was a separate question.

It was a follow up point of clarification on a specific application of how a committee would look with only people who have played or coached.

I agree with him. Most women don't know #### about football. I would not have a problem with Suzi Kolber being on it though. She seems to know her stuff and does her homework.

the opposite of what he said. He said no women. You said you'd be fine with a woman. Do you agree with him or not?

Apparently during Gameday he made some comment along the lines of he doesn't think women should be allowed on the playoff selection committee. It ended up rubbing some people the wrong way, but not anything unusual for him.

The board for selecting playoff teams should be ex-players..

His co-hosts ran with women's right to vote when Pollack was simply stating that in his opinion the most informed people to be on that committee are ones that have played the game.
The real question should be why Dan Patrick still has a job?

Some with female genitalia think they should have male's one

He did not think women should be part of it and he wanted previous players. I think it make sense to me and to most people but some in the media.
Why the hell we want someone that never played the sport? I never took a snap in football but I love to watch but that does not qualify me to be an analyst of the sport or a reporter or anything.. I take that back, maybe the water boy.
So for all women that they think they have the to right report on the sports (including you heather), you need another job. You ain't better than me.

And announcing jobs related to football? Methinks you'd run out of talented analysts, journalists, and announcers if you did that.

I've got a Condi Rice story. Condi Rice went through a checkpoint in Iraq that I happened to be working at during the Saddam trial back in 2005. On her quick drive through, she apparently didn't like the location of one of the barriers we had set up, so we had to move it. It irked me because she made changes to something that had worked fine for us on one quick trip through a checkpoint. I doubt she has any physical security experience. I've disliked her pretty much ever since. I'm not necessarily against women on the panel, but I don't want to see her on the playoff panel.

Be allowed on the committee. However, you have some women, like myself and Suzi, that know more about football than a lot of men. Just because we can't play the sport doesn't mean we don't love it. Trust me, I wish I could play football. You boys don't know how lucky you are to have the chance to play such a fun sport!
