Unfortunately it looks like Strider is headed towards Tommy John surgery and could miss some time into the 2025 season. Definitely not good for him or the team. Really need to go find a picture at some point. Would prefer to acquire one off waivers and not have to give up anyone.

Yes sale and fried are going to have to step up .. and Morton will have to be Morton and be consistent… someone else is going to have to step up though like elder did like ynoa or AJ or someone. I doubt it but it’s possible we go try to get someone big at the break if strider is out for the year. Fried is the guy that has to pick it up though he wants to be paid like a top 5 pitcher he needs to start pitching like one.

Sale hasn’t pitched a full season in forever so he can’t carry the load. We are going to be stuck relying on young guys again. We have some decent ones but that’s not a great position to be in come playoff time. Hopefully some of them can carry the regular season load to get us there so Morton, Fried, and Sale are fresh. That’s going to be risky but it is what it is.
