What is the line in the sand

For folks not wanting basketball change (with either program), what's the line in the sand to change that opinion? I'm done criticizing. But I am curious what that line would be. Gracias

I want to see what we do next year and what kind of recruiting class he has waiting to join. If he does poorly with both I want him gone.

in our schools history. CBB hasn't even taken us to the tournament in the last 7 years. If he takes us to the tournament next year after he will be back. He would deserve another year. especially after losing 3 starters.

We vacated those wins from 1990 when Ellis was our coach.

When we stop being competitive in the ACC. We had 2 games all year we couldn't win. Winning the close games is done on the recruiting trail and recruiting has only improved as the years have gone on.

We were competitive in 16 of those 18 games.

The only ones we weren't in late was at Louisville and at FSU (and both of those were extremely embarrassing an inexcusable).
Don't get me wrong, 6-12 is unacceptable as well, and we have to start winning more of the close games. But there really shouldn't be an argument that we were very competitive this year. We have been during almost all of Brownell's tenure, to be honest.

we were 0-12 against the top nine in the league. In what universe is that competing? Close means less than nothing. An L is an L

I think the line in the sand comes next year in the form of post season play. Make the 'Big Dance',he stays. A N.I.T. bid he goes.

Drad should make it clear to Brownell that no NCAA tournament bid next year will result in him being fired.
