Whats up with the recent trolling sites leaving us out of expansion?

Are they trolling to start something? Or is there truth that the best we could do outside of the ACC at this point will be BIG12? The premier leagues(money wise, not necessarily team wise- see USuc and Candybilt) are being said to snub us. Have our “stock” dropped in value that much over the last 4 years? We do a lot of our stuff under the radar and I doubt we are leaving ACC without a deal to go somewhere else. Any guesses as to what is true or not? Or does no one really know?

No one knows anything and folks on twitter definitely don't know anything. Around 10 years ago it was scrolling on the bottom of ESPN that Clemson/FSU was headed to the SEC. A few years later Clemson/FSU was a lock to the Big 12. This past August reports were coming out that Clemson would announce a departure from the ACC in October. Notice the trend?

My suggestion to fans is to not look at this crap twice. If it happens it happens.

1) The SEC has reached out to Clemson multiple times over the past 35 years about joining. They want us.
2) The old narrative about TV markets is antiquated. Today it is about viewership as streaming is replacing cable/network markets and Clemson is a top 10 program viewership wise.
3) Current SEC member schools have no ability to stop other schools from their state from joining. Example, Texas A&M could not stop Texas from joining, and they absolutely hate each other.
4) The Big XII is weaker than the ACC, not sure why everyone thinks they are going to raid the ACC.

I believe everyone is guessing. I doubt even our BOT has decided where they'd like to lead us in the future. I'm good with whatever they decide. Our treasure is being Clemson (1) and that can't be taken from us.

Whether we remain in the ACC, move to the B1G or SEC we will always be Clemson.

1. Belonging to the Clemson family is far less treasured by me than having my name 'written down.'
