The NCAA is obviously doing nothing. Presidents and ADs are saying nothing.

Coaches, even Kirby, are asking for change. Who in the heck is guiding this ship?

It may be awhile. I think the NCAA sees a departure of their rule over college football to governing themselves. My guess is once the superconferences break and things settle into a new structure, then and only then will this craziness be reeled in.

NCAA sports are in a very weird place. Where’s the leadership? They’re on vacation. They’ve been on vacation for at least 40 years. NCAA has a culture of vacation. I could not tell you what they actually do at the NCAA. I was a D1 athlete for 3 years. I never met anyone from the NCAA. I never heard any Coach of mine, speak of meeting anyone from the NCAA. I couldn’t begin to tell you why anyone at the NCAA should ever receive pay check.

On the other side of the coin, it is clear that the United States Justice department is dictating to the NCAA. I believe that has occurred because the NCAA spent 40 years being asleep at the wheel.

My question to add into the mix is, what is an amateur athlete?

The leadership of college football is at ESPN, FOX SPORTS, NBC SPORTS AND CBS SPORTS. DON'T BELIEVE ME, WHO SETS GAME TIME KICKOFFS. WHO CONTROLLED THE CFP THIS YEAR?
