30 minutes later he announced he was going to Arizona.
It was very strange.

Hershel Walker. He would have been a Tiger. He said so himself, but too much money and "stuff" (houses, cars, etc) from Athens. We turned out okay, anyway, but he was a gifted athlete, for sure.

Dan Marino wanted to play football and baseball and his top picks for both were Clemson and UCLA. Pitt convinced him to stay and just play football. They had a 1976 National Championship that helped.
Tates recruited Moses Malone hard. Mac had the dollar Moses tipped him up on his menu board for a long time.

I met her at Tiger Town Tavern after a game in about 2003-2004. Can’t remember exactly. I was in town for the game and I was going to UNCW. She was going to Lander and transferring to Clemson.
I ###### her brains out in the RV lot. A bud of mine had a spot there with his dads RV. They were all still at the bar. I hammered down. She was fun.
She didn’t get into Clemson. So never a Tiger. But close.
