And will he be our third string guy?

I was sitting in the West end zone and that guy was super impressive in his shiftiness in finding the holes. Very impressed with that young man.

Thanks DSP! Could not think of his name. The guy is a stud imo with a great frame for the RB position.

Sitting where I was I could see the holes for the RB as clear as day and dang you have to hit that hole fast because they do not last long.

Hate to compare him to a Barry Sanders but the guy seemed to have that kind of shiftiness in the backfield.

Thompson seems like a good kid. His parents and grandmother(I think) were killed in a tornado while he was at JC a couple yrs ago. He was Freshman All Conference at his JC then transferred to Clemson knowing he would have to make it the hard way. Pretty tough story.

He reminds me of this guy

Now there is a name you don't hear too often!

Merriweather -- the guy was a tank and a solid RB. James Davis and Spiller overtook him but very underrated dude. Tommy Bowden should've let that boy run it all the way down the field back in '06 against the Gamecocks.
