Agree with Kerns and Medved, and you’d have to take a swing at Smart.
I’d also include the following:

Although I do not know who is available, I know who I am not going after. I am not going after Shaka Smart ,who has already indicated he's not interested. I'm not going after Mark Few, who is from Oregon .We have already had two coaches with no "SOUTHERN" connections, Purnell from Maryland and Brad from Indiana.
I'm not going after Bruce Pearl ,or Rick Pition, both of whom are good coaches but IMO, carry too much garbage.
And I am not going after any one older than Brad, who is 53.
No, my first choice would be Greg Buckner, He is 45,from the South, he should be able to recruit the region and if nothing else he has ties to the University.
And if he is not available, I would still open my search with these qualifications; Age, ability to recruit the South, is a good X and O man like BRAD ,but who knows the difference between "athletes" who can run up and down the court( reference Oliver Purnell) and guys who know how to play both ends of the court. And I would focus on trying to build a winning tradition by being able to compete with the rest of the league not named UNC or Duke. You don't build a reputation by losing basketball games to schools like FSU, Boston College even Georgia Tech year in and year out.
So that is my take on it.
Any thoughts, pro or con?

Just have 2 or 3 police officers attend each practice. Problem solved!

Wes Miller, former NC star. I like many of suggestions but if can’t get them then Vandy head coach who played at NC. What about Johnny Dawkins of UCF or former Duke star coaching at Harvard

We could hire the Dorman coach. Pay him a lot less money and basically get the same, if not a little better results.
