Who's up for dropping Auburn...

The next couple of years and replace them with Tenessee? We could settle who is truly WRU. I feel like it would also lead to a pretty nice little rivalry.

In all honesty every fan base is delusional. Most fans have over inflated opinions of their team. I have lived in different parts of the country and have degrees from schools in 3 of the 5 power conferences. I can promise you Clemson fans are no different. We have a nice little run going now but it won't last-it never does for any team. Enjoy it now. Tennessee fans with Butch Jones are no different than when we hired Tommy Bowden. It is ironic how arrogant Clemson fans have become in the past few years. I guess I am humble about Clemson because I sat through a 3-8 season in 1998 as a sophomore. I am definitely in the minority. People are proud of the teams they cheer for. Not everyone is going to kiss our behind.

Yeah, I agree with you some...but it also takes it to another level when you have some of these teams crammed down your throat by a certain network and their announcers all season long...and their fans are just as bad..that's where the vengeance comes from

Auburn is a great gameday experience, but it's annoying that we're playing them again- we've played them 4 times in the past, what, 7 years? Enough. Why not a home-and-home with Temnessee or someone else?

We need to figure out how to make UGA a permanent game on our schedule. If we played them every year, that rivalry would be ALMOST as big as the USUC rivalry.

I agree wholeheartedly. In my book, Georgia is, and has been for a long time, second only to USuC as a Clemson rival. The games are historically close due to the mutually intense rivalry (almost like GT) and the schools are not that far away from each other, each are stalwarts of Southern tradition and culture and football mania, etc., and I'd love to play them more regularly, even on an annual basis. It would be another one of those games to look forward to in a make-it-or-break-it circumstance, not to mention simply strengthening our OOC schedule.

the Lamecocks back when I was in school. Reason being, it was always tough to beat Georgia, and we owned Carolina. Now that "The School from the Cesspool" in Columbia has had some recent success against us, it actually is a rivalry now.

Wouldn't bother me at all...After beating Auburn two times in a row, playing them doesn't have the appeal it once did...Would much rather see us play UT or Florida and expose some different SEC teams for a change.
UT & UF are pretty much in our back yard and we've rarely played them. In fact, I can't ever remember playing UF at all.

'Can't remember UF at all either, and that would be a good contest. The media, at least initially, would go crazy over the match-up. But I remember the days when UT would virtually wraiphe SC of its top prospects and that really jacked me to the core. Yeah, I'd like Clemson to play UT alright. Bring 'em on.

Count me in. Auburn: Been there, done that. Would much rather play the Rocky tops or Gators.

Not totally of course... maybe once every 8 yrs. Georgia every 6 yrs. Then Tennessee once every ten years. Wish it could happen. I love the idea of playing Auburn, Georgia, and Tennessee like this way. In the rotation so to speak

I like Auburn better. We need to play and beat quality teams to showcase for the playoff committee.

Would not mind Tenn, Bama, LSU, Arky, but would rather have Fla for recruiting purposes mainly!

I would prefer dropping the lower division teams

Auburn is fine with me .... AND TENNESEE
A lower division opponent should be limited to only one every four years and then limited to those based in SC OR those with whom Clemson has a less than impressive record (VMI anyone?).
