He would take PJ out on defense and put him back in on offense. It didn't seem Scar was doing anything different on offense?

Scar was playing a quicker, smaller lineup.

There also was a moment at the end, where no time had run off the clock, so it looked like he was putting him in and out and then back in... so he just was not eligible to come back in yet and had to wait until the next whistle.
