Did you actually read the article? The kid played in 5 games over 3 years which is typical of Portal guys. Would you write a check to a guy that has only played in 5 games? Nope.

There's a reason why this kid is leaving a conference championship team for a team that will struggle for bowl eligibility again in 2024.
It likely for a little NIL money (something he probably wasn't getting at Bama), an opportunity to play immediately without having to compete for significant playin time, or some combination of the two.

He will probably get some playing time there.
No one loves trashing the Coots more than I do, but if you have paid attention Scar is getting some good football players, both frrom recruiting and the portal. Some of them have played in the high school all-star games and shown out pretty well. We need to understand that Scar isn't always going to be as bad as they were in the past ten or so years.
