Maybe not but the way you phrased it implies ppl on tnet were against it. My first reaction was sad on losing Bates but man, stoked when Dabo reeled Eason in.

I feel like most of us considered him an upgrade from Bates. At least from a developmental standpoint.

Eason was a well-qualified coach with years of experience. He is better job than Bates.

The players are going to love playing for Coach E. There were some that questioned his recruiting ability but I believe that is going to be a strength. The players can relate to him. Just like CJ. Look at the things Cobb said about CJ after his visit. Both of these guys are going to be great coaches that will be able to motivate these players.

Bates was a little hung up on himself and his poetry. Eason will be a better technician coach.
