That's what this could come down to.

ACC and is headquartered in North Carolina.

Would Federal law apply since it’s interstate commerce?

Antitrust laws could come into affect as well. I know enough about business law to be dangerous but it looks like the GOR and contract with ESecPn and Disney is preventing the ACC Schools from competing for more income.

Effectively the CFP just proved it by with-holding Florida State from the semi, based on no merit other than it would not make the CFP pockets as fat.

Thats conjecture. A rational argument can be made FSU was excluded

Because of an injured QB and therefore was not one of the four best teams at the end of the year.

I don’t buy that argument but it has logic.

Yes, FSU's case is being filed in US Circuit Court in FL. It could eventually end up in SCOTUS. FSU and Clemson signed it and have received money from it. The SEC & Big 10 negotiated better TV deals for their members. They will get $60-$70M each going forward. Big 10 has the best deal. However, ESPN has a unilateral opt out or extend option till 2025-27. ESPN could opt out and cut off ACC money. FSU has Sixth Street Partners lined up to fund exit costs. I think FSU's case is weak. It may cost $600M for FSU to exit the ACC, so the hedge fund makes sense.

I disagree. It is a strong suit. It violates Fl law, the ACC has not exercised its fiduciary duties as required, Acc and ESPN treated ACC schools unfairly and differently than SEC schools. The GOR penalty is not based on actual damages to ACC, but is based on an arbitrary figure. Further, who the #### keeps a contract under lock and key and no one who signed it has a copy. I doubt that anyone who signed it ever saw it. They took Swoffords word for it.

Using Sixth Street is a creative approach. Do they then take a cut of the new FSU deal that is cut with SEC or B10?
