In Chapel Hill is not something my team has a history of doing. I am not a BB hater like many of you BUT I’d feel better if that coach from Hickory was calling the shots for this game. Barnes was a winner in my book.

What is it now 1-60 at Chapel Hill? Sad! I'm just glad Clemson owns them in football.

Rick Barnes never came close to beating UNC in Chapel Hill though.

He lost 66-39, 86-53, 61-48, and 88-79 in his four attempts there.

That's an average margin of defeat of 20.5 points per game.

LOL.

Barnes played UNC 4 straight times. All top 20. 2 Top 2.
UNC Ranking: #2 AP (L), #10 AP (L), #19 AP (L), #2 AP (L)

Brownell
UNC Ranking (Brownell's last 4): Unranked - 7th in ACC (L), Did Not Play, DNP, Unranked - 13th in ACC (W), DNP, #15 AP (L), DNP, DNP, #7 AP (L)

Yes, the ACC sure is as difficult as ever. Playing at UNC 4 times in 9 years is really taxing.

But Barnes got his money’s worth up there and didn’t go into surrender cobra mode.

Just checked some stats cuz I know that’s your thing. Barnes was at Clemson for 4 years!! He had Clemson in the tournament his last 3 years! He had them ranked as high as #2 in the country his third year and as high as #5 in his final year. The Tigers were a 9 seed, a 4 seed and a 6 seed in the NCAA tournament his last three seasons. Those are the facts and they are indisputable.
