something up in the afternoon and it was dead as a doornail. Wasn't batteries or a connection/dongle (lulz) issue...it just decided it'd had enough of this world. Anyway, typing on a laptop keyboard right now and this will probably be the worst day of 2024 until new keyboard gets here tomorrow.

Then I decided F it, and went straight laptop.

Things work well and are far more simple. At times not having but a single screen is a PITA but I make it work.

This setup allows me to be far more nomadic while working, and I like that.

laptop plugged into a docking station that gives me an additional two screens. Use the laptop keyboard though because I don't want to get accustomed to all the real estate of a standalone.
