I have been concerned about Dabo leaving for Alabama or retiring prior to Clemson and the ACC's situation with realignment getting settled.

If Dabo were to leave it would leave Clemson vulnerable to sliding back to the middle of the ACC and being left out when the ACC eventually implodes. Our chances of latching onto the SEC or Big 10 are much stronger with Dabo at Clemson. Yeah, the program has slipped in the past 3 seasons, but it still playing at a much higher level than it has in any other era of Clemson football and Dabo is still the right leader for the program by a mile.
