With new scoreboard, what should be done with the old Tiger

The Tiger on the top of the scoreboard is going to be lost on top of the new one. What should be done?

Maybe he should be moved to the bottom where the team comes in after they get off the busses?

Or at another entrance?

Any ideas?

plans in store for the old Tiger with the new scoreboard. If he goes away, I think we should all Mutiny. Some traditions are near sacred!

scoreboard just as he has been since he was first introduced way back when. It would be a crime to leave him off!!!!!

The AD plans to honor the tradition, I don’t have all the details. They know what that Tiger means to a lot of fans.

What I’ve been told:
It will be on top. It will be nicely refurbished and fully functional (eyes light up, tail wags). One new feature will be that it will rise up out of the scoreboard for gameday and be lowered for storage afterwards to protect it.

It sounds like they are thinking about making it part of pregame ceremonies, but I don’t yet know if that will happen. I’ll share details if I hear anything.

Those guys can probably come up with some serious stuff with all their skills & resources… go for it and make some cool animatronic beast instead of the little wimpy one that has been there forever.
