I would sit here and say that Dabo is absolutely the most successful college football coach right now.


Yes, Smart gets the nod for current year, but if we are talking most successful coaches in the country, Dabo is number one.

2 national championships, but also 8 ACC Championships and a string of 6 straight playoff appearances. And more of course without me listing.

It’s just pretty good to know we have the most successful coach


The stats regarding Dabo vs Saban show how well Dabo stacks up with the goat. Dabo has beaten Saban 2 times.

But, Dabo has 100% the best resume against Nick Saban. 2-2, but both wins coming in a national championship.



I cannot say anything to prove that Dabo is currently doing a better job than Smart, or even other coaches.

But I will say that I am unwilling to give up the coach we have until he decides it’s his time.

I believe that of Dabo had been in the SEC during the dominance, it would’ve played the same effect as Georgia and Smart. They really seemed to wear down Nick Saban mentally. Just the fact that Georgia is obviously not going nowhere.


Also, Dabo did all this by doing things “the RIGHT WAY”. Kirby has sent scouts to prison yard football scrimmages to see the new talent.

• 47% Graduation rate vs 98% graduation rate
• Multiple arrests per year vs one or two per decade
• paying players long before it was legal vs slow to embrace paying players.
I could go on.

Kirby Smart was the Alabama defensive dynasty
Kirby Smart is the Georgia dynasty

The number of National Championship games that Kirby has coached in is unreal.

Yeah I agree, but there’s no reason to say all that if we were debating between Kirby and Dabo as head coaches
