Might I remind you the supposed "greatest offense college football has ever seen assembled on one team in one season" only managed 16 points when it mattered?

All the talk about "what the other teams are doing and such; is mostly driven off the perception that the SEC is such a gauntlet same thing with the Big 10" that if you score a bunch of points: "ON THOSE TEAMS - surely NOBODY ELSE STANDS A CHANCE!
Which is so false, it's not funny!

The Tigers have been favorites in each game so far this year! I would love to see what we do with our backs against the wall against a "perceived" superior opponent!

Might I also remind folks; Chase Brice had to come off the bench at home in order for us to beat Syracruse in 2018. South Carolina and their no-good offense also scored 35 points on our defense that same season! The most allowed by any team that year including the "vaunted" Crimson Tired!

Every team in the Nation has the ability to "gel at the right time" including Clemson! Some teams peak early and others late!
I think of Pittsburgh that year barely getting in the playoffs; having to rely on someone else losing in fact! Yet, they got in and won a Super Bowl!
Key injuries, a plateau in terms of what your team is capable of could be already reached(giving the opponent time to prepare), the scheme is just plane caught up to for a plethora of reasons. Whatever the case! It's a long season; and as long as you are in it; there is a chance!
We have the potential and supposedly haven't played a complete game yet; that should scare the Hades out of our opponents.

Clemson of 2022 I understand isn't that of 2018.

But, you couldn't tell the analyst that leading up to the NCG. There were 35-point and 28-point margins of victories for Alabama predicted because of how "devastating that offense is"!

All based on the competition in the SEC being "great"! Hmmmm!

Ye ole SEC Juggernaut Tennessee since beating ye ole SEC juggernaut Alabama has jetted up the polls right?
Besides Bama missing a kick and giving TN a chance; their toughest game was perhaps against a fellow ACC foe Pittsburgh. A game TN won in "OVERTIME" 34-27.

But, they a juggernaut, right?
Pitt has lost to Louisville and Georgia Tech in the ACC!
