Would 8-4 with another loss to SC warm the seat under Dabo?

I mean the good news is that things really can’t get any worse than they were Saturday night. But for the sake of message board banter let’s say we drop games to FSU, ND, and SC. Does that put Dabo on the hot seat? Or do we see him more as an untouchable made man?

I don’t think a coach that’s won us two natties will ever be on the hot seat.

Dabo will get us another natty. May not be this year but it will come. He’s still a young coach. We have one of the best facilities in the nation thanks in large part to his previous successes and the administration’s commitment. He is learning , growing and the Tiger will be back. Clemson has been blessed , especially the past 10 years or so. Coach will figure out the right formula for success again. He needs to feel our support. All In 👍🏿🐅

to warm it up every so slightly. Position coaches and coordinators, however.... Those seats will get toasty fast.

IMHO...... Dabo will never be on the hot seat at Clemson due to his phenomenal success over the years. That being said, Dabo being Dabo, if his bosses came to him and told him to grow up, change with the times and use the portal like any normal, clear-thinking college coach in today's game.......if they did that, I can see Dabo telling the football world to take a hike and retiring from coaching to become a motivational speaker or Christian leader of some sort. It would shock the college football world but Dabo has shocked the world before. Nothing would surprise me about Dabo any more except to hear that he admitted he was wrong about roster management and the transfer portal. Now THAT would shock me!

he his. He's purposely putting this program at a disadvantage b/c HE doesn't believe in the "new rules"...........and that's fine, but go screw some other program in the ground.........it's NEGLIGENCE.
He is making this team step into a boxing ring with one arm tied behind their back.

No. I think a lot of fans are getting tired of his childish arrogance though. We have to use the portal and he needs to accept that fact and stop being stubborn.

he's SEES IT........He knows our biggest issues.......He's not an idiot. He couldn't have HONESTLY looked at our WR room the last 2-3 years and thought........"yeah, these are the WRs I need to take us back to the promise land"
but he REFUSES to budge from his stance because HE DISAGREES WITH THE NEW RULES. You're 100% correct when you say CHILDISH ARROGANCE.
Dabo knows he's untouchable so he doesn't care what disadvantage he gives Clemson. He's won his titles and is fat, happy, & complacent.

Dabo has put himself in a tough situation. In hiring buddies and former players you run the risk of that day coming where hard decisions have to be made. That will be tough on Dabo and create pressure in itself. I don’t see Neff sitting him down and making that seat warm but the National Pundits will be all over it.
CFB is big business and Clemson can’t afford to slide back into the form we had in the 2000’s.
Will his seat get warm? Not after this year but if changes aren’t made, yes.

No hot seat, I could see him walking away from coaching on his own term. Look Dabo has done great things the simple fact that he’s too stubborn to get with the times and changes of the game of CFB Portal/NIL it’s only a matter of time

He will never get pushed out. If he leaves, it will be on his terms. Like it or not, we are going to win or lose “the Dabo Way.”
If we held on to Brownell this long we sure won’t be giving Dabo a shorter leash than that.
