Would Navy, ND and Stanford save the ACC?

Aug 7, 2023, 9:21 PM

If all 3 were to join would the ACC be more relevant?

absolutely not... ND is going to probably get around $70mil

next contract-- staying independent. They'll be right there with the Big 2.

They can command that as an independent from NBC. They will not bring the ACC up to that if joining.

As long as they let Clemson out , they can add whoever they want. If you are saying with Clemson included NO. The contract for the ACC is a joke and Clemson can not continue to compete with teams in other conferences with far less money.

Name even 1 area in our athletic programs or facilities that we are not competing with other schools.

NBC has already told ND they will not be paying over $50 million per year. That’s why they haven’t signed a contract yet.

No more profound and truthful comment than this ...
disband...then form a conference with
Clemson
Fsu
Miami
Unc
Duke
Nd
Pitt
Uva

Or other scenarios but clemson miami fsu unc nd duke need to be the staples...duke for one reason and one reason only...but itbis a significant reason!!!

None of those schools carry the same brand recognition, viewership, etc. like a Texas, Oklahoma, USC, or Oregon except Notre Dame. But Notre Dame should've joined fully years ago but that ship has sailed to even get the ACC where it needs to be now. If it wasn't for us and FSU, this conference would be dead in football relevancy right now. And if the day comes Clemson and FSU leave, I expect the ACC to dissolve like the PAC-12 and get swallowed up and divided amongst the BigXII, BIG10, and SEC.
