No one would especially love taking a coaching job after a legend. Rumors are swirling that Kirby is in ATL talking with the Falcons. Suppose this is a smokescreen that allows Kirby to coach in the NFL for a year, then claim he wants to go back to collegiate ball.Bama has hired a less than stellar coac in the mean time., in walks Kirby to save the day. It’s happened before. Hmmmm, could it have been Saban? Crazy thoughts from a bored woman!

i do think kirby is creating a smokescreen but only to distract from the garbage dump he has created at georgia, coaches driving drunk people dying, 100's of players speeding, he is trying to create a "no no we need you we will do anything to keep you including turning a blind eye to death from the culture you allowed to fester" moment.

Bowden did the same thing at Clemson. Rumors of him going somewhere just to get his salary jacked up.

At this point in time, is the Alabama job better than Georgia?

Obviously Bama is blue blood and has the trophy case, but does Bama have more resources / recruiting advantages, not to mention cover of the state government?

Not sure the answer.
