It's the when and the how.

2022-2023 season: Clemson is one of the last three out of the NCAA tournament. Expectation: We should make a deep run in NIT, maybe make the final four. Reality: Clemson as a number 1 regional seed loses to Morehead state at home.

This season: Ranked 16th heading into three games: Miami (away), UNC (home), Va Tech (away). Expectation: For me I expected to lose to Miami, play competitive maybe beat UNC at home, beat Va Tech comfortably. Reality: Three losses by an average of over 12 points per game. We didn't look remotely good against Miami or Va Tech.

To me those are clearly coaching issues that continue to occur.

the team goes on a losing streak to show the truth. Why should/do we ever think it's going to be different with Brownell as the HC?
