He hasn't been convicted of anything. Colorado's decision would have set a horrible precedent.
We just need to band together to vote Biden back into office in 2024. That's the way to keep Trump away from the levers of power.

This was the correct decision. Just as in the overturn of Roe v. Wade. The Supreme Court (state or US) does not and cannot make the laws. They are they to interpret those laws.
Makes me wonder that since Trump "won" this one if he'll get the next one. Which would be the same thing. The SCOTUS making the law, rather than interpreting it. IMO

The conservatives on the SC want Trump on the ballot (either for partisan reasons or for supposed "let voters decide" reasons) and know him losing the immunity case (almost assured) makes it more likely than not that he won't be, so they delay.

Glad it was 9-0. Hopefully, the people who tried this will be held accountable - whether through ballot or appointment. But, I seriously doubt they will. You can't 'save' democracy by ending democracy.
