Have we, or are we close?

LSU had a nasty DL for a few years stretch (late 90's through mid 00's I think?) With our most recent NFL products, and the DL that is on campus and incoming, have we surpassed their stretch, or are we at least on the way?

Well since 2009, they're 3-4 in bowl games and we are 5-2 (including a win against them in 2012 and this year making it to the NCG).

So in short, that coupled with our current recruiting, I'd say absolutely yes - Clemson has arrived.

I'm not trying to compare programs here... we have definitely had better production over the past few years! Ours really spring boarding with a win over their program (thanks Nuk!). I'm simply comparing units, their feared DL and ours which is AT LEAST on its way to the same reputation.

We've brought in talent on the DL for quite a few years now. Going back to Bowers freshman year (2008).

I think Hobby and Brooks are our two best position coaches and recruits recognize their quality and they see the players they've put in the NFL. And I also honestly believe Marion Hobby is the best DE coach in college football.
