wow wow WOW. We're heading to the sweet 16 baby!! I have been a CBB critic at times, but never been in the burn him at the stake crowd. What this team has done/is doing is incredible. I love it and they deserve every bit of credit and love we can give them.

BUT, in this post I wanted to mainly give props to the baseball team. I am a baseball guy, so that is where my heart is. I posted many times before the season started about how excited I was about this team. So much talent, but what has impressed me the most is the fight these guys have. It is like night and day from the Monte Lee (not trying to bash the guy) days. Bakich brings a noticeable fire and passion that you can see through his players. I don't want to speak too soon, but I think we have a VERY legitimate shot to make it to Omaha and FINALLY bring home a national championship. Another big game against Coastal mid-week and then a series @ Miami. Let's try to go 4-0 on the week!

The years and years of inconsistency took its toll on me. But to see him have success is worth me eating a ton of crow. He is a good man and a solid coach. If anyone deserves this it is him. Just glad a good guy is getting rewarded.
