But if you want to, we certainly can. Coots are undefeated in basketball. Notre Dame has losses to Marshall and Stanford in football.

Coots barely beat us with a shot at the buzzer, while the Irish beat us badly in football.

I’ve already posted tonight that this was a game I felt we should’ve won. We had our chances and didn’t make the plays.

While it always stinks to lose to the Gamecocks in anything, I thought our effort was good and we put ourselves in position to win on the road in a hostile environment. Can’t ask for much more than that.

I don’t view this as some horrible loss. We barely lost to a power 5 team at their place in an early season game. Lots of bball ahead of us. We will learn from it and get better.
