We all know that Dabo has pretty much put it all on the line.... His way vs. the Best Staff/TP/NIL way.... Like many others I was hoping that his way would prevail, but the Duke game exposed some cracks in the levee, and the FSU game may break it.... That said, I have no doubt that going forward Dabo will make all the necessary program-wide adjustments to compete at the top-tier level in this new era of college football.... It just may take another year or two....

It should have never gotten to be where major adjustments were needed. Dabo understood what it takes to get to the top, and it wasn't bc he had coaches all over the field without years of experience. IMO, to stay at the top, there was a need for better play calling with our offense, and he chose to go from average to below average with his coaching choices, and that's what we're looking at right now, inexperience coaching of championship talent!!! And I'm talking about with the OL and the receiver coaching.

Still, have to realize that Dabo has just been sticking with what got Clemson football to where it is.... The offense totally depends on a true dual-threat QB.... DJU's heart just wasn't in that place or he could have been as big a run threat as Watson and Lawrence were or Syracuse QB is now.... Cade definitely has the heart, but not the size (and not as quick as DW was).... I think Dabo's rate of change is obviously directly proportional to the number of wins (10 being the benchmark) / championships and the manner of losses....

Why is it that teams don't learn during summer practice what they need to know during a game - like how to block and tackle and defend against the pass? Our pass coverag is sooooo soft.

I’d say we have championship caliber talent at each position except WR. I don’t care who’s coaching I don’t thank those guys are that good.

DW4 and T Law. Make all the difference in the World. The QB position is by far the most important position on the field. If we had elite QB play we would be undefeated and right where we need to be. It’s hard to be patient while Cade develops but he is getting there, I think.

And I’d respect that. He has earned the right. Not sure I’ll keep watching when six or eight Uber-rich teams are the only ones in the running for a title. Unless something changes in the player buying department that is where I think things will land.

I'd rather see the Freshman WR Brown get more PT than some guy who played at Akron.
That said, I'd like to see us grab an OL and maybe a place kicker from the portal.

What gives you the impression that Dabo will adapt? I lean more toward the man walking away from something that he despises. Even his life story does not line up with the way things are now. He has earned everything he has. The hard way. The NIL and portal represent a cheap, shortcut to the top. That isn’t Dabo.

I think Dabo believes he is in the best place to make a positive impact on young athlete's lives.... He won't compromise the values or culture he stablished, but I think he will make the necessary changes.... Examples might be: OL, WR, etc. position coaches; actively soliciting more NIL support ($$$) from alumni and IPTAY; better roster management (pulling scholy's and reducing walk-ons) to be in position to use portal....

starters...and that 10 of those are 6yh year guys. They may fall flat on their face next year...And you are not gonna hit the lottery every year with great portal players.And, at some point it has to affect recruiting.

New OC, Cade getting settled in, a bunch of new staff members, don’t forget a road game against a D-1 first game of the season ain’t easy. We got a whole season to show out. I know it was just FAU but they played much better and faster. Having FSU at home could be a huge savior this year. Go Tigers! Never forget all the #### we’ve been through against the Seminoles, that hate runs deep.
