YouTubeTv… Directtv Stream

I am currently on YouTubeTv and having no problems but curious if anyones streaming Directtv and what you thought about it. Thanks in advance for any helpful info.

direct tv stream is owned by at&t, the worst company ever, by far. i got you tube and rarely have a problem.

I have had DIRECTV stream for 6 month. I’ve not had any issue with except the sound messes up periodically when using an older ROKU device (it isn’t the roku it is how the ROKU and DirectTV stream interact). I’ve never had YouTube TV so I can’t really compare them but have no regrets about DIRECTV stream (aside from not being able to have a “previous channel” button - but that is streaming related not DirectTV stream related)

It says I could get the Sunday ticket free for this year with Direct, but fixing to announce it possibly going somewhere else in the near future.

I have been having trouble with YOUTUBETV since last Thursday when the season kicked off. I stream using a Amazon FIRESTIK with AT&T internet. Thought it was just the FIRESTIK but then my mom starting having problems as well. She streams YOUTUBETV on my account using Xfinity. My problem was that the FIRESTIK kept wanting to reboot were as her remote would stop working. No volume control, could not go into setting, turn off power/off or even mute would not work. Called Amazon help over the weekend a week ago and they walked me through getting my FIRESTIK to work but it started acting up again this past Saturday with the same issue that we had with moms remote. As for Moms TV it seemed to straighten around Thursday of last week by itself??? sorry to be so long winded or just venting. Open for suggestions cause I can't have this all season long.. Tigers are playing!!!

I had the same problem with YouTubeTV/Roku the last couple of days. So far, it's been OK today.

Next time you replace your TV, just get a smart TV and get rid of the fire stick. No issues with YTTV for me.

A lot of streaming services stop supporting older devices, frequently without notifying users.
