Yup, time for Jack to go. We shouldn't make the tourney.

We will but we shouldn't. I've been getting abused on here the last 2 or 3 years about our baseball team but it looks like the fans are starting to cross over the line with me. We've been eroding and if we don't fix it soon it's gonna be too late.

Last year we were one bad no-strike call away from a 4th Super Regional in 5 years.

Clemson got swept bt UCONN at DKS. Clemson needed more than one strike.

beat, but a bad no-strike call kept the game going. It would have been over if the right call was made.
Still no excuse for the next game, which was pathetic, but I'm just saying were were one bad call away from the Supers. That doesn't excuse the loss... but it does represent how fickle baseball is.

The goal of baseball isn't to host as much as it is to win.

If you are cherry picking a stat of secondary importance then you are failing to properly evaluate the success of our program.

Not really trying to defend Jack - but our pitcher hit a batter, walked a batter, then hit the next batter. Sheesh - you can't win tight ballgames doing that crap. Not really trying to trash our pitcher - but no way can you hang this one on Jack. Just a bad day for the pitcher IMO.

Agree the pitcher was not on today but why not pitch Brady or Meyer? It's a 3 game series, now you have 3 starters for probably 2 meaningless games. That decision was made by Jack.

Gossett was a great move and pitched 6 2/3 for an amazing game giving us plenty of chance to win.
Moorefield came in at his usual spot reliever role and got us out of a jam.
Brady is still recovering from injury, should be available any day.
Meyer, Kent, and Firth have all had their moments, both good and bad.

Typical tight assed jackleg team. Played tight ###*d instead of going for the win. How many times are we going to lose by giving up the lead by bad pitching beacause we have bullsh8t pitch callinng? Tired of his lack of fundamental coaching. How many times are we going to go from an 0-2 count by blowing them away and then trying to finess the count? pep has got to go. Time to go. Look at Bobby Bowden.

Jack left Kent in the game too long. It was not Kents fault. Scott Firth was the right call also he just waited too long to bring him in. Bases loaded ACC tournament there is no room for error.

The players have absolutely no fun. He runs the program like a czar.
Which means we win a lot. Unfortunately I believe this causes us to give up in the end.
Ray Tanner on the other hand...
