Do y'all really use your dogs to retrieve those spear heads? I guess y'all are all great shots and the cranes are all DOA when they hit the ground, otherwise that could be rough on a dog's head and eyes.LOL.

We do use dogs. They make goggles you can put on the dog to protect their eyes, but I don’t have any for my dog. You’ll get one every now and agin that’s only got a busted wing and will get after the dog pretty good but I’ve never seen it be anything more than what the dog can handle.
